Agentic AI on Campus: Redefining Trust, Policy, and Cyber Resilience in Higher Education
Learn how universities can build an ethical AI culture that safeguards learning, research, and mental wellbeing while strengthening organizational resilience and cyber readiness
Why This Briefing Matters
AI is changing how students learn, collaborate, and think but without proper guidance, its use can unintentionally compromise integrity, privacy, and mental health.
This session brings together cybersecurity and behavioral science experts to explore how academic institutions can foster responsible AI use across students, faculty, and staff.
You’ll hear real examples of emerging risks from student data exposure at campus events to low engagement in traditional training and learn how to create meaningful, human-centered frameworks that encourage safe, ethical innovation.
In this briefing, we’ll discuss:
- How AI behavior patterns and peer influence are reshaping academic culture.
- Practical steps to align cybersecurity, ethics, and mental wellbeing in AI governance.
- Approaches to balance academic freedom with policy enforcement.
- How institutions can turn compliance into a culture of digital trust and resilience.
You’ll leave equipped to start the conversation and the transformation within your own university.
By submitting this form, you agree to receive communications from Talion Cyber Security and agree to our Privacy Policy.

Rich Davies is the Director of Cyber Solutions at Talion Cyber Security where he serves as a veteran cyber solutions leader, cybersecurity strategist and trusted partner to CISOs. He helps mid-market companies, global enterprises and critical industries navigate complex security challenges with clarity, confidence, and measurable outcomes. Previously, Rich held a number of roles at Vodafone across operational security, security risk and compliance and was pivotal in launching new security services across Europe as part of the security growth strategy for the company. He also established and ran a security consulting team within the Vodafone business where he was highly focused on cyber security solutions for global enterprise clients.
With deep experience in building and delivering advanced cyber programs, Rich partners with CISOs, IT leaders, and risk managers to align technical solutions with business objectives. His expertise spans managed detection and response (MDR), managed SIEM, threat intelligence, penetration testing, vulnerability management, and hybrid SOC collaboration models.
Rich’s role focuses on designing and delivering modular tailored cyber solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing security operations, whether that means tuning SIEM environments, strengthening endpoint defenses, embedding threat intelligence, or scaling SOC capacity or working with near greenfield environments to mature their cyber resilience.
Rich specializes in reassessing MSSP or SOC strategy, solving challenges with businesses who are struggling with SIEM complexity, cloud migration, or alert fatigue, building a business case for MDR, XDR, or vulnerability management and delivering measurable value, not just technology solutions.

Dale Warner is the Head of Business Development for EMEA at Talion Cyber Security, where he serves as a veteran cyber solutions strategist and trusted partner to CISOs, IT leaders, and enterprise executives. With over 15 years of experience building cybersecurity partnerships across public and private sectors, Dale helps organisations modernize their SOC operations, strengthen resilience, and achieve measurable protection outcomes.
Since joining Talion, Dale has been instrumental in driving growth across EMEA, shaping client engagements that reflect Talion’s founding mission, to deliver transparent, collaborative, and robust managed security services. He works closely with boards and technology leaders to provide programs that align operational realities with strategic objectives, ensuring that every security investment delivers tangible business value.
Before joining Talion, Dale held leadership and commercial roles across several UK cybersecurity firms including Commissum (Resillion), ROCK, and CyberGuard Technologies. His early career at OGL Computer Services and The Ticket Factory honed his ability to bridge complex technical solutions with real-world business needs and is a strength that defines his approach today.
Dale’s expertise spans managed detection and response (MDR), co-managed SOC services, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and risk assurance. His deep understanding of the cybersecurity supply chain enables him to help clients cut through vendor noise, reduce operational friction, and achieve greater control over their cyber maturity journey.
As a relationship-driven leader, Dale is known for his clarity, integrity, and commitment to long-term partnership. Whether supporting a global enterprise or a mid-market firm, his focus remains the same, to deliver security solutions that empower teams, protect reputations, and strengthen resilience from the inside out.

Keven Knight is the architect behind Talion’s transformation from a defense-grade security division into an agile, client-focused cybersecurity partner. He and Mike Brown together, led the divestment of BAE Systems Applied Intelligence’s commercial cybersecurity arm, to form Talion. Keven brings with him a proven track record of building one of the most respected Managed Security Service businesses in the market.
With a background spanning IBM, ICI, and AT&T, Keven has spent his career designing and delivering global service models that stand up to the most demanding environments. At BAE Systems, he managed and grew the Enterprise MSSP business into a market leader. Today at Talion, he combines that operational rigor with a modern, transparent, and collaborative approach — ensuring every client gains the clarity, agility, and resilience needed to thrive against evolving threats.
“I’m proud of the robust service we built at BAE Systems, coupled with the agility we now have to evolve and improve it.”

Liam Salsi is a founding member of Talion and serves as Director of Architecture, where he leads the design and engineering of the company’s secure service portfolio. His role ensures every Talion solution is built with both resilience and clarity, giving clients security architectures that are robust yet practical to operate.
Before Talion, Liam was part of BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, where he led the Architecture and Onboarding consultancy team for the Enterprise Managed Security Service SOC. He has designed and built security products and operations centers at both commercial and nation-state scale, and previously served as Design and Technical Authority for advanced secure capabilities at Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services (formerly Electronic Data Systems).
At Talion, Liam applies this deep architectural expertise to push the boundaries of what managed security services can deliver — simplifying complexity while strengthening protection.
“At Talion we challenge ourselves to design, build, and operate services that increase clarity and reduce complexity for our customers.”
